Here is an interesting job that we carried out in Esher KT10, where a plastic pipe had been connected to a cast iron pipe that had corroded and it was causing repeated blockages.
The customer had employed previous companies to try to repair their blocked toilet. The toilet had blocked numerous times within the last few months and the customer really wanted to get to the root of the problem.
Our engineer removed the toilet and used the high pressure water jet to clear the problem. He also employed an Aquavac to ensure that spillage was kept to a minimum.
With the toilet successfully cleared, it was now time to investigate why it had been getting repeatedly blocked, so we carried out a CCTV inspection.
This showed that the new PVC pipework was connected to an existing cast iron pipe that had become heavily encrusted with rust.
Luckily for the customer we were able remove the rust using the Picote Miller saving both future blockages and the disruption of having to replace the existing pipework.
The customer was very happy with our work and was especially pleased that we had managed to get to the root cause of the problem.
At the end we cleared, cleaned, tested and disinfected the area and the client was very grateful and complimentary about our services and agreed to leave us a review on Google Maps and Trustatrader.Com.
