Here’s an interesting case study where we were called to a primary school in London W6, where the toilet had repeatedly blocked over the past 6-months.
Our engineers were excited to find out why!
The first thing we did was to first clear the current blockage. Then we could use our CCTV inspection camera to see why it kept blocking.
We entered the system through the stack pipe which was located right next to the toilet in question.
We used our high-pressure water jet, which was set to 3000 psi with a flow rate of 8 gallons per minute.
This cleared the blockage with ease, but our engineer still needed to find out why this particular toilet kept blocking up.
Our engineer probed the system with our Mini Solo Pro CCTV Camera and found a mass of tree roots growing in the pipework.
This was then reported to the school who asked us to return in the school holidays to remove the roots using our Picote milling machine.
We have also been asked to completely line the pipework which will prevent any further root ingress.
The client was very grateful and complimentary about our services and agreed to leave us a review on Google Maps and Trustatrader.Com.
