Blocked Gully – WD3

Here’s an interesting case study where our team was sent to the site for a blocked gully.

The team got to work and lifted the manhole cover to find the channel the gully runs into, they then set up the high-pressure water jetter and managed to clear the blockage.

After clearance, the team performed a free look and see using the CCTV surveying equipment and found there to be root ingress and a slight joint displacement within the pipework from trees located nearby.

The customer has been notified of the defects and was very happy that they had bought to his attention.

The team will back out in the new year to remove the roots using a milling machine and fit a patch liner to fix the joint displacement.
